Catechist Needed- Are you willing to help? The success of the Faith formation of our Children is due, in part, to the generosity & dedication of volunteers. These volunteers, who become Catechists, or Catechist Aides, share their faith & love for Jesus while teaching the youth of our parish as they grow in faith. We are in need of volunteers for the upcoming 2022-2023 season, which begins in September. We will provide you with the training, tools, and support to assist you in this Ministry. If the Lord is calling you to be part of this Ministry,

Elementary Catechesis and Sacramental Preparation
K - 8th Grade classes are held on Monday from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at SJS
K - 8th Grade classes at OLS TBA
Sacramental Preparation classes for 3rd - 12th Grades (Second year) are held on Tuesdays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at SJS
Formacion de Fe y Preparacion para la Primera Comunion en Español- Los miercoles de 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Youth Confirmation

Confirmation I & II Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at SJS.

RCIA
Coordinator of RCIA - Barbara Ochoa
The process for entering the Catholic Church begins in July each year. During the year, Candidates and Catechumens will be dismissed during the 5:00 Saturday evening Mass in order to break open the Word of God. They will also meet every Monday from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at SJS. (See Parish Calendar for a listing of class dates)
Adult Confirmation
Confirmation Catechist - Cecile Quick
These classes begin on September 11th with an Orientation at 6:30 p.m. at St.Serra. The regular classes meet on Mondays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at SJS
